“Frida Kahlo” (The print is now available at Etsy)
Eng/ Finally I found time to work on a portrait of Frida Kahlo! I love her very much, the Woman she was and the Painter. A true Icon! I’ve been mainly inspired by this portrait of her but also from other ones. I also wanted to include the famous hand shaped earrings Pablo Picasso offered her, they are so fun! Are you a lover of Frida, too?
I am looking for more books about Frida.. If you have good recommendations, feel free to share with me, thank you!

Fr/ J’ai enfin eu le temps de travailler sur un portrait qui me tient à coeur, celui de la grande Frida Kahlo. J’admire beaucoup la Femme et l’Artiste qu’elle était, une véritable icône! J’ai principalement été inspirée par ce portrait photo d’elle.. ainsi que par d’autres. Et j’ai eu envie d’inclure les fameuses boucles d’oreilles en forme de mains que Pablo Picasso lui a offert, je les trouve géniales.

I also think that she was a special artist. Her life and her work were really inspiring.I’m from Mexico city and here there’s a lot of her work in libraries, restaurants, museums, even at the streets, everywhere. I think that it would like you.
