Fr/ Coucou à tous! Désolée d’avoir négligé le blog ces derniers jours, et d’avoir donné peu de news. J’espère que tout le monde va bien et que vous passez un bon été. En neuf cette semaine:  je vais faire un mini shop-update (un genre de mini vente privée) sur Etsy ce mercredi à 18h. Il y aura 10 nouveaux carnets cousus et des bijoux! Eng/ Hello folks Hope you’re having a great week, here it’s soooo hot lately! Thank you ever SO much for all the bday wishes, it was really overwhelming and I feel blessed to have you all following and supporting me. LOVE you!!

So this is my second illustration for the Crazy 4 Cult show in Gallery 1988 Los Angeles. I chose Edward Scissorhands because it’s simply one of my favorite movies ever, and it is also a cult movie, indeed! Hope you’ll like this sweet couple ♥

And *drum rolls* we have a winner for the “Sally” print: according to the random number generator, it is comment #126 aka Emily! Congratulations Emily, I will contact you by email asap (= I’m sorry for the 139 other people who didn’t win, but I’ll have more giveaways in the future. Thanks everybody! Talk soon!

Donc, sinon, voici ma deuxième illustration pour l’expo Crazy 4 Cult de la Galerie 1988 à Los Angeles. J’ai choisi Kim et Edward, de Edward aux mains d’Argent de Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands). C”est tout simplement l’un de mes films préférés, et c’est aussi effectivement comme l’indique le titre de l’expo, un film culte! J’espère que vous aimerez ces deux personnages ♥

Et pour finir * roulements de tambour* nous avons une gagnante pour le print de “Sally”: selon le random number generator, c’est le commentaire # 126 aka Emily qui gagne! It’s like I’m entering a new world, and to illustrate my feeling right now I’m going to quote a great poet, Delmore Schwartz (thank you my dear Fran for this) “Time is the fire in which we burn”

Fr/ Coucou à tous! Aujourd’hui est un jour spécial pour moi (et pour vous aussi, lisez plus bas) puisque je fête mes 30 ans! C’est à la fois étrange et excitant en même temps.. effrayant aussi. Pour citer un poète américain, Delmore Schwartz,  “Time is the fire in which we burn” (le temps est un brasier dans lequel nous nous consumons). J’aime beaucoup cette phrase et elle représente assez bien mon état d’esprit.

Ok donc pour fêter un petit peu l’événement, c’est moi qui vais vous offrir à VOUS un cadeau!

Eng/ Hi folks! Hope you’re doing great lately. The weekend is almost there, and let me say hoo-ray! I worked like crazy this week, and I desperately need to take some rest.

So today I wanted to talk a bit about a great new show! It’s cult movie themed. I will have two new illustrations created especially for the event, 2 framed prints that I will show you later. Eng/ Hello darlings, hope you’re doing well this week! On my side, so far everything is ok except I cut one of my fingers nail very badly yesterday and it will be long before it gets better! Damn me, I’m so clumsy sometimes ah. Anyway! I’m also working tons on many different things =) And I have new treats for you: new fabric & paper brooches! Fr/ Coucou, j’espère que la semaine se passe bien pour vous. De mon coté ça va bien, excepté que je me suis infligée hier une méchante coupure à l’index de la main gauche et que tout ça va mettre un paquet de temps avant de cicatriser et disparaitre… Mais à part cette petite mésaventure, je bosse sur pleins de choses en ce moment.
